Biography

Alice (Trotter) Brewer was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Barbara Alice Trotter was born on September 11, 1885 in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States. She was a daughter of William Jackson Trotter and Mary Ann Trevena.

Alice was married in Blount County, Tennessee on December 21, 1907 to George Washington Brewer. They were the parents of four boys and four girls that grew to adulthood and one daughter who passed away when just a toddler.

Alice passed away August 30, 1974 in Blount County, Tennessee and was laid to rest beside her husband at Headrick Chapel Cemetery in the Wears Valley Community in Sevier County, Tennessee.
