DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Robert by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:

Robert. Some of the changes you are making to the DeBuse line are incorrect and I am changing them back. For example, Robert John DeBuse was born and died on 9 May 1912. NOT 1911. Please be careful changing biographies that I have done. Granted we all make mistakes, but these are my aunts and uncles and have worked on these for nearly 40 years.

I have not been active lately, working on other family lines and have been to England and Germany doing research, as hired a German researcher to look further into the DeBuse name change. Originally it was Buse, changed by my great grandfather (not his siblings, only him) about 1858.

Thanks so much for your help Robert. You wouldn't happen to know who Thomas Kelly's parents were (1794-1871). Thomas was married to Mary Sharp, and the father of Margaret Kelly O'Neill. Margaret and her husband Nicholas O'Neill were part of the original Irish Settlement at Bradford County PA and were the parents of Thomas Kelly O'Neill, whose daughter Mary Margaret O'Neill was my great grandmother (Murt's mother).

Thank you, Yes Grandma Maggie was hit by a car on the way to mass to pray for Grandma Jerry. It was a very sad time. I was only about 4 years old, but I still remember it all.

Thank you, Robert for all the contributions and edits related Jon Michael Wilson and his spouse's family, the O'Gormans. He was a first cousin to my father through his mother's family that hailed from St. Joseph, Missouri. I visited the Wilsons in 1965. I have tried to reach family members to provide them with photos of Margaret Louise Filbert as a child. If you know them, please encourage them to contact me.
