Wayne E. Trisler. E. Trisler, 70, of Bloomington, died Thursday at Bloomington Hospital.
Born June 4, 1922, in Bloomington, he was the son of Homer and Fannie E. (Alexander) Trisler. He was a retired clerk with the U. S. Postal Service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars. He attended Fairview United Methodist Church. 1
Survivors include his companion, Ruth Gerard of Bloomington; four sisters, Mildred Batchelor, Waneta Houston and Mary Alice Baugh, all of Bloomington, and Leota Patterson of Newburch (sic), N.Y.; one brother, Alvin Trisler of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews. 1
He was preceded in death by one sister, Eileen Kern Bowman. 1
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Carter officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW. 1
Friends may call 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. 1
