FindaGrave.com has John and Margaret buried in the Kirk Cemetery, Washington County, Indiana. There is a photo of a monument reading "John and Margaret Kirk Family Cemetery" but no individual grave stone for John, who is said to have died 3 Nov 1868--I noted that he died before this date, not on this date. "Stones no longer exist," says the web page. They are buried on land that once belonged to John and Margaret Kirk.
Notes
Original birth date was 1806 uncertain, changed to 1800 to match Findagrave data, left as uncertain.
