Henry Loyd Trichel, age 79, of Natchitoches, La., passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, July 14, 2008. The funeral service will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2008, with Rev. Truman Leach officiating. Interment will be at Saint Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, La. Mr. Henry was a very family oriented man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren more than anything. He retired from the United States Air Force after 36 years of service. He loved to work with cattle, duck hunt, and fish. Henry was a very hard working, honorable man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Trichel; one son, Gary Trichel; and his parents, Wilmer Trichel and Alma Antee Trichel. He is survived by his two daughters, Joy Shaver of Natchitoches, La. and Pamela Trichel of Natchitoches, La.; one son, Randy Trichel of Natchitoches, La.; six grandchildren, Shonda Trichel Watkins of Jonesboro, La., Britney Walsworth of Natchitoches, La., Josh Shaver of Natchitoches, La., Justin Shaver of Natchitoches, La., Jacob Shaver of Natchitoches, La., and DJ Fairchild of Natchitoches, La; two great grandchildren, Bailey Trichel of Jonesboro, La. and Sawyer Watkins of Jonesboro, La.
