Property of bride: As an advance payment on part of her inheritance, the bride's father gives her one mulatresse named Jeanne valued at 1500 livres in coined money.
Property of groom: From the inheritance of his mother, the groom has 200 piastres. As an advance on his rights in the future succession of his father's property, he is given one young Negro named Antoine, about fifteen years old, valued at 300 piastres.
