Karl Ludwig Treichel was born 26 January 1821 in Leipzig, Bessarabia, Russia to Johann Treichel and Anna Luise Jeske.[1]

Ludwig married first, Louise Bierwagen on 26 December 1841 in Tarutino, Bessarabia, Russian Empire.[2]

Research Notes

Mr. Flegel lists a Jacob Triechel b 5 March 1855 in Leipzig, Bessarabia, Russia. This is an error.

  • I can not find a Jacob Treichel b 5 March 1855 in Leipzig. See 1855 March Births - Leipzig
  • It is also strange to have two sons named Jacob, where the first did not die at a young age.
  • There is no Jakob Treichel, age 2 listed on the 1857 Leipzig Census. See above.

Jacob Treichel b 5 March 1855 Leipzig has been removed from the list of children.
