Biography

Mary (Treichel) Wolf was a Black Sea German.

Maria Traichel was born on 8 November 1876 in Brienne, Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russia to Christian Traichel and Freiderika Hock.^[1]

She came to North Dakota with her parents in 1889, where she lived for the rest of her life.^[2]

On 1 Novebember 1894 she married Fred Wolf.^[2]

Brienne / Perterwunsch / No. 15 / [Бриень], Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russia (Lt 45.9725N, Lg 29.4290E) is now the southern part Artsyz, Odes'ka, Ukraine.^[3]

Maria Wolf, a Fredonia resident, passed away at the age of 80 on 7 August 1957 in a hospital in Ashley, North Dakota.^[2]
