Dean Treichel, Burnsville, and Jeffery Allan Wirch, son of Gary and Sue Wirch, Kenosha, WI, were married Saturday, Nov. 18 at Carthage College Chapel in Kenosha. The Rev. Paul Hammar officiated. Erin Treichel was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Anne Wirch, Camie Bland, Rachel Wade, and Pam Fischer. Katie Wirch was the flower girl, with Michael Wirch as the ring bearer. Tim Mattner was the best man. The groomsmen were Curt Deininger, Steve Principe, Tom Roemer, and Warren Blough. The ushers were Marty Whyte, Rob Yanney, and Scott Yanney. A reception was held at Madrigranno’s Marina Shore on Lake Michigan. After a wedding trip to San Juan, St. Croix, and St. Thomas, the newlyweds are residing in Kenosha. The bride graduated from Cambridge High School, and Carthage College, Kenosha, WI. She is employed as a seventh grade English teacher at McKinley Middle School and also as a cheerleading coach. The groom graduated from Tremper High School and UW-Parkside, Kenosha, WI. He is employed as a biology teacher at Bradford High School, a swim coach at Tremper High School and is also the head coach of the Kenosha Barracuda USS Swim Team. ©Isanti County News <....index.html>.

1. ↑ Source: #S2 Obituary Posted Online: 7/17/03 Andrea (Treichel) Wirch Andrea Grace (Treichel) Wirch, 30, of Kenosha, WI, formerly of Isanti, died July 6, 2003 at Aurora Medical Center after a brief battle with breast cancer. Born in Cambridge April 16, 1973, she was the daughter of Rev. Dean and Kelly (Hight) Treichel. She moved to Kenosha from Isanti in 1991 to attend Carthage College and has lived there since. While at Carthage, she earned her bachelor's degree in English and her master's degree in teacher leadership. She also received her reading specialist certificate. She was a Carthage cheerleader, a member of Kappa Phi Eta sorority, serving as their vice president. On November 18, 2000, she married Jeffery A. Wirch at Siebert Chapel on the Carthage College campus. A teacher with Kenosha Unified, she worked for seven years at McKinley Middle School where she was the cheerleading coach, track coach and Honor Society advisor. She spent the past year at Mahone Middle School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Pi Delta Chi service organization. She enjoyed camping, vacationing, outdoor activities, cooking, sewing, dance, choir practice and she was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Her father, Rev. Dean Treichel, preceded her in death. Survivors include husband Jeffrey; mother Kelly of Burnsville; son Benjamin Dean; sister Erin Treichel of Burnsville; and grandmother Jeanette Hight of Rochester. • Andrea’s friends have started a trust fund for Jeff and Andrea’s son, Benjamin, in her memory.
