Biography
Charles Townes is a part of US Black heritage.
Charles Townes died young.
Charles was born in 1951. He was the son of Haywood Townes and Mary Thornton. He passed away at age 10 in 1962 of Sturge-Weber Disease.[1] Burial was in the Jerusalem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Boydton, Mecklenburg County, Virginia.[2]
