Biography
Bertie was born in 1876. He is the son of Ephraim Toomer and Fanny Sadler. [1] He had a twin sister Rhoda Toomer. BIRTH. STAR (CHRISTCHURCH), ISSUE 2457, 7 FEBRUARY 1876, PAGE 2[2]
He married Maude Edith Maria Meyers in 1900. [3]
He married Letitia Rauriki Tirapo McDonald in 1937. [4]
He died in 1956 aged 81 years old [5] and was buried in Linwood Cemetery, Christchurch, New Zealand.[6]
