Felix Semmens Lemon Tonkin, son of Jane Tonkin, was baptised 24 Sep 1854 in Madron, Cornwall, England. ^[1]

He married Catherine Ivey in 1872. ^[2]

Note: in 1871 Felix Tonkin 18 is a farm servant working for Thomas Johns at Park Ann Venton in Marazion, Cornwall. Thomas John's sister in law is Catherine Ivey, also at the residence. ^[3]

Felix and Catherine Tonkin with their daughter Mary Ann, emigrated to New South Wales on the Earl Dalhousie, arriving 22 Jul 1878. ^[4]

Felix and Catherine have two children born in Australia Catherine Jane Tonkin born 1882 and Felix Tonkin born 1886.

Catherine Tonkin passed away in 1901 at Lismore, New South Wales.

Felix Tonkin married Amy Jane Young, born 1870 Murrurundi, New South Wales, in 1904 in Sydney.

They have a son Felix Richard Tonkin.

He passed away in 1922 ^[5] and was buried in Rookwood General Cemetery. ^[6]
