Biography

Elizabeth Tompson was born about 1701 based upon her recorded age at burial. ^[1] Her parents have not yet been identified.

Elizabeth married Thomas Heaton 09 Jun 1724 in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire. ^[2] Elizabeth was about 23 years old; Thomas was 36. It was Thomas’s second marriage – his first wife Tomasin had died 3 years earlier. Elizabeth became stepmother to Thomas’s 4 sons from his first marriage – Thomas (13), Francis (11), John (7), and Simon or Samuel (6).

Elizabeth and Thomas settled in the North Willingham area of Lincolnshire where they had the following children together, all baptized in North Willingham:
