Biography

Nancy was born in 1857.

"After an illness of about a week, Mrs. Nancy Rebecca CLEGG, aged 53 years, died at her home two miles west of Girard yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. // She was a member of the Christian church. Besides her husband she is survived by eight children: W. H., Allen, Lon, Mrs. TANT, Mrs. Maggie SANDERS, Mrs. Ada ROSS, Mrs. Fannie NEWSOM and Miss Jettie CLEGG. // The funeral will take place this morning at 9 o'clock from the house and interment will be at Philadelphia church near Smith's Station."
