Jean was born in 1737, no place given for his birth. He was the son of Charles Thériault and Angélique Doiron. He was on the census of 1752 age 15 years, Isle St. Jean, Acadie. On 20 October 1769, a passport was issued in Cherbourg to Jean THÉRIOT, his wife Charlotte LeBARON, and their daughter Madeleine-Marie THÉRIOT to go to St-Malo. [1] On 15 September 1772, a census taken at St. Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, France shows Jean Terriot, 36 laborer of St. Malo. [2]He passed away in 1815.
