Daisy Kathleen Throssell was born in 1880 in Northam, Western Australia, daughter of George Throssell and Annie Jane Morrell.^[1]

She married John Wilfrid Callaghan on 22 September 1909 in Northam, Western Australia.^[2] Their children were:

• Daisie Hope Callaghan (1910–1988)
• Hugo Wilfrid Callaghan (1912– )
• Ada Constance Callaghan (1916–2008)
• Margaret Throssell Callaghan (1924–2008)

Daisy passed away on 13 July 1964 in Bairnsdale, South-Central Gippsland, Victoria.^[3] Her remains were buried at Fawkner Crematorium & Memorial Park, Melbourne, Victoria.
