Biography

John Henry Thorley was born on 12 August 1888 in Charters Towers, Queensland. He was the son of Delia (Lennon) Thorley and John Henry Thorley.^[1][2]

He married Lily Holmstrom in 1913 in Victoria.^[3]

John Thorley died on 8 May 1972 in Kew, aged 83.^[2][4] He was buried in Footscray General Cemetery on 8 May 1972.^[5]
