Mary, Project Coordinator, Southern Colonies
I just don't have time to do much on WikiTree right now. So please remove me as an active member of Southern Colonies.
Thank you, Mary Carpenter

Hoping to find your profile is still active.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I was adding missing Grand-fathers going back from me. My 5th Great-grandfather Mendenhall-449 (Philip Mendenhall) was already in Wikitree. I Thought I selected him, But a new entry for Philip Mendenhall (Mendenhall-2148) was created instead in error. "Mendenhall-499 and Mendenhall-2148 appear to represent the same person because: I thought I selected Mendenhall-499 but a New entry was made, Mendenhall-2148 Mendenhall-2147 (Capt Thomas Mendenhall) is the Son of Philip Mendenhall-499(Philip Mendenhall. this is the link I was trying to establish. Thank you for any help." Source: https://www.mendenhall.org/mfa/tng/getperson.php?personID=I26042&tree=MendEuro20200218
She is the daughter of my 4th great grandpa I believe and I will be adding my information to her page and also her husband Solomon Carpenter. I do not have them tied into my Brazzel line because I do not have proof but only circumstantial evidence. Hopefully I will be getting the info online in the next few days. thanks, Karen Cain
I have added our line and we are getting matches on ancestrydna, I've also put my autosomal on gedmatch Thanks, Marg
Hope you are well. I have sent you a message concerning the Pennell profiles. Please let me know, if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks!
Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going? Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
Im glad you found us. I just confirmed you as a member (once you sign the Honor Code, youll be a full member aka a Wiki Genealogist). I've found the best way to research my family in WikiTree is to post what I know and connect to existing profiles when I find them.
An important aspect of WikiTree is providing sources for information (even if its just Aunt Louisa told me in 1984...) my profile page has a link to Sources Resources, where Ive tried to provide an overview of source information.
Give G2G or me a holler if you get stuck on anything, and thank you for joining our collaborative tree. Remember that our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please look for duplicates before adding a profile.
Enjoy!
Willing to share whatever information I have thus far.
A few employees and a whole lot of volunteers are working together to create a FREE global family tree with only one profile per person. If you'd like to help us by adding your family branches or help to grow the tree in some other way, please select the volunteer button and leave a statement informing us of your interest in our project.
You're welcome to ask a question at G2G forum.
Our Honor Code helps to keep us friendly. Hope you'll join us. :)
