Hi Rosalie

Am I able to add/edit to other trees if I have additional information. Everytime I try to edit it takes me back to me.

Hi Rosalie/Pip

Thanks for getting back to me. I can indeed start to edit but I find it a little user-unfriendly. Its probably me just getting use to the way you have add and edit. I do have a problem with some errors that I have found - additional children added to a family, when the additions should be recorded as partners of, or in one case, daughter of.

For these instances, should we go back to the person who manages this or update this ourselves. Just want to be respectful of some information but some inforamtion is completely erroneous.

Additionally is it respectful to add people even if they are not in your direct ancestor line, ie brothers and sisters of actual ancestors?

I have read and watched youtube videos on referencing. I am having a little difficulty with this.

Plus with some records it just says 'so and so was born on, and died on.' I feel an obligation to write some additional bio information. It saddens me to see a life of 70 or 80 years come down to two dates, when they must have had full lives.

Excuse the ramble.

Hi Ben,

By all means reach out to any profile managers in the first instance to attempt to resolve errors.

If that does not bring a response in a timely manner than updating the profiles (with appropriate sources to support the changes) yourself if the profiles are open access increases the accuracy and completeness of our single collaborative tee,

Improving biographys is also a great asset to any profiles you can add sourced information to.

Kindest regards Rosalie
