Catherine was born in autumn 1862.[1]
At age 18 in summer 1881, Catherine married 19-year-old George Robert Harrison.[2] The pair went on to have ten children (six sons and four daughters) before immigrating with the youngest to Alberta, Canada in 1906.[3]
Initially the Harrisons farmed in the Gainford area west of Edmonton, and then relocated to the area northwest of Lloydminster.[4] Husband George passed away in 1927, and Catherine relocated with her younger sons and began farming northwest of Bapaume, Saskatchewan.[5]
Catherine Harrison passed away in winter 1944:[6][7]
