By 1900, the family was living in Carrabelle, Franklin County, Florida.[2] The census had their name spelled Thomson. The couple had four young children including Martha J, Nancy May, James H, and Robert E Lee. They were still in Carabelle, Florida, in 1910.[3] Children in the home at the time included Martha, Nancy, James, Robert E L, Mary, Thomas, Bashebe, Theo, and Adson M. By 1920, they had moved to Sopchoppy in Wakulla County, Florida.[4] Children in the home in 1920 included: Nancy, James, Lee (aka Robert), Thomas, Bashiby (aka Bashebe), Theo, Monroe (aka Adson), and Rosina.
Henry passed away in Sopchoppy, Wakulla County, Florida in 1938. Burial was in the West Sopchoppy Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Wakulla County, Florida[5]
