Biography

Zemeriah Thomason was born on 5 February 1803 in Hall County, Georgia, USA, son of John P Thomason (1776–1846) and Hannah C Abercrombie (1779–1842).

Zemeriah (17) married Jannett Jennie Montgomery (21) (born in 1798 in South Carolina, USA; daughter of William Montgomery and Ailsey (Crittenden) Thomason) on 27 July 1820 in Hall County, Georgia, United States.[1] Their known children were:

  2. Ailsey Thomason (1823 – 29 September 1899) .
  3. Hiram Thomason (2 June 1825 – 12 September 1889) .
  4. Harmon Thomason (21 March 1827 – 1880) .

  6. Young Zemeriah Thomason (26 February 1831 – 3 December 1881) .
  7. Rebecca Thomason (1833 – 1855) .

Zemeriah (46) married Elizabeth M Boggs (27) (born on 11 October 1821 in South Carolina, United States) on 10 April 1849 in Hall County. Their known son was John Henry Thomason (14 December 1848 – 2 February 1928).

Zemeriah died on 25 July 1867 in Harrison, Boone County, Arkansas, USA, aged 64. He was buried in Loback Cemetery, Harrison, Arkansas.[2]
