Biography

Balaam Terry is a part of US Black heritage.

Balaam was born about 1869 in Galipolis, Ohio. He grew up in Springfield, Ohio with his parents Alexander and Adaline Terry and many siblings. He married Minnie Collins in Gallia County, Ohio in 1897. They had two sons, Gail and Terry. Around 1904 they settled in Milford Center, Union, Ohio where he farmed. He passed away in 1928 in Milford Center and is buried in the Milford Center Cemetery.
