Captain George Terrill Jr. served with 16th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
George Terrill was christened on 28 Jan 1727 (or Jan 1728[1]) in Milford, Connecticut.
On December 4, 1754, George married Sarah Sherman in Fairfield, Connecticut. They were both of Newtown, Connecticut.[2]
On September 16, 1777, George was one of 48 men in Newtown, Connecticut, who took the Freeman's oath. On December 7, 1777, he was elected a selectman in Newtown.[3][1]
During the Revolutionary War, George served as Captain "of the western alarm list company in the town of Newtown in the 16th regiment in this State [Connecticut]."

George died on April 7, 1806, in Newtown, Connecticut.[1] His burial site is unknown.[5]
