ROBERT TERRILL OBITUARY

Robert Dale Terrill, 78 of Alma passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, in a local hospital. He was a truck driver for Vines Truck Co. and a former owner of Terrill's Service Station in Fort Smith. He was a residence of Alma for the past 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Louise (Wilson) Terrill; one sister, Norma Boone; and one brother, Jimmy Terrill. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; one son, Fred Terrill of Alma; four daughters, Becky Longnecker and Tammy Combes, both of Alma, Charlene Johnson of Van Buren and Nancy Tew of Oklahoma City; one brother Carl, Terrill of Alma; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Terry Wilson, Larry Dehart, Kenny Crockett, Dewayne Waldrop, Jerry Carter and Mike Washburn. Online tributes may be left at www.ockerfuneralhome.com.
