Biography

Wilhem was the son of Johannes Teller and Susanna Wendell.[1] He was Baptised according to the New York Births and Christening records in the First Dutch Reformed Church, in Albany, Albany, New York on 04 Oct 1695.[2]

Wilhem (William) first announced his banns on 07 Feb 1731 to marry Catrina Van Alen daughter of Willem Van Alen. They wed on 05 March 1731 in the First Dutch Reformed Church in Schenectady, Schenectady, New York. [3]

Wilhem and Catrina's Children:

  1. Johannes, b.1731

Cathrine died on 25 April 1732 and was buried in Albany.

Wilhem married second, Anna Schoonmaker on 06 Sep 1735 also in the First Dutch Reformed Church, Albany, Albany, New York.[4] Anna brought her son Johannes Schoonmaker into the marriage. Johannes Schoonmaker died in 1757.

Son's year of birth is probably incorrect, if married mar 5 of 1731 and assuming an immediate pregnancy, son was probably born in 1731. Or she passed in 1733. Both scenarios are being researched.

If Catrina VanAlen died April of 1732, How can her son, Johannes, be born Nov. 24, 1732. Mother was already dead.
