Biography
Thelma (Taylor) Murray is a part of US Black heritage.
Thelma Irene Taylor was born on 16 July 1899 in Salt Lake County, Utah. She was the daughter of William Taylor and Elizabeth Austin.[1] In the 1900 census Thelma (age 10 months) was the daughter of William H Taylor in Salt Lake City Ward 3, Salt Lake, Utah.[2] In the 1910 census Thelma (age 10) was the daughter of Elizabeth Morris in Salt Lake City Ward 2, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.[3] In the 1920 census Thelma (age 20) was the single daughter of Lizzie A Morris in Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado.[4]
Thelma married Luther Murray. In the 1930 census Thelma (age 30), teacher, was the wife of Luther A Murray on West 7th Street, Owensboro, Daviess, Kentucky, United States.[5] Luther died on 25 April 1933.
