Biography
Lannie (Taylor) Powell is a part of US Black heritage.
She married Lawson Powell on August 19, 1866. Both of them were emancipated slaves and had been together for four years.[1]
In the 1880 census Laney (age 38), Laborer, was the wife of Lawson Powell in Whitakers, Nash, North Carolina, United States.[2]
Her mother's name was Emily.[3]
She passed away in 1920.[4]
