Hi Mick,

It has been a few weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Disasters (and Titanic) Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Regards Joan

Hi Mick,

On behalf of the Disasters (and Titanic) Project Leaders we are carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work in the past.

We have recently made a lot of changes. We are changing the focus of the project to include more about people involved in disasters and the effect it had on them and their families. We have divided the project into teams. Please have a look https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Disasters

Please let me know, by comment on my profile or a private message, whether you are still active in the project, and which team(s) you would like to work with. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed?

We're looking forward to hearing back from you,

Joan and Lizzie

Hi Mick,

I’m checking in with all Titanic Project Members to introduce myself and see how you are and what you are working on. I’m Lizzie and I’m honoured to be looking after the project in the role of coordinator. Please let me know what you are working on and if you need anything from me.

Looking forward to moving the project forward with you

Lizzie

Hello, Mick,

We are sorry to lose you as a member of the Black Sheep Project, but we understand that life gets busy and interests shift. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin the project in the future if you wish.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hey - just saw your links to the Taits in Lithgow. We are connected thru Sheila Joyce Tait [tait-1004]. She married into my Furbank family - though in hindsight she could have made a wiser choice - he turned out to be a bigamist  :/
Hi Michael - I added a link to Charles Tait and The Story of the Kelly Gang to Neds profile - thanks for the suggestion - shows how his legendary status has continued over the years

Hi Michael, Thanks for posting the info on Emily Tait (nee Rainbow) page. From this I can see I was 2 days out on the death date of my great grandfather, so I fixed.

Thanks again Sharon

Michael, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you! Lee - Volunteer Coordinator
