Biography

Mary Swift, who was the fourth daughter of Benjamin Swift, Esq., of Dublin, married Valentine Flood on 19th September, 1833 in the parish of St. Mary, Dublin.[1][2][3]

The Church of Ireland church for this parish was in Mary Street, Dublin, at the time they were married.[4] There was, however, another church building within the parish named St Mary's Chapel of Ease, or the Back Church.[5] Which building Mary and Valentine were married in is not clear.


Mary and Valentine Flood had at least five children:
