the child William Walter Swift (abt.1861-1923) was the child of John Swift and Catherine Cullivan. There was another couple who married in 1864 (John Swift & Catherine Cullenar), but they are not the same couple. The first couple had at least 8 sons (see 1871 census below), as early as 1851, so would have been married 10 years earlier than the 2nd couple, who were both married for the first time. It's unclear if the child of Edward Swift and Mary Jones was the father of William Walter Swift. More research is required.
