Biography

Adrian was born in 1916. He is the son of Benjamin Sweet and Mabel Bartlett.

Scotia man dies in two-car crash.

A 76-year-old Scotia man died Wednesday in a two-car collision south of North Loup, authorities said.

Adrian B. Sweet was following; farm machinery while driving his car north on Nebraska Highway 11, said. G. H. "Woody" Woodgate, Valley County sheriff.

Sweet attempted to turn left onto Nebraska Highway 22, but his vision was apparently obstructed by the farm machinery and his car collided with an oncoming car, Woodgate said. The accident happened at 10:15 a.m.,'he said.

Sweet was taken to Valley County Hospital in Ord, where he later died.

The death brings the number of people killed on Nebraska roads to 42 this year, compared to 25 on Feb. 26, 1991. ^[1]
