Biography
John Sutton[1] was born about 1560 probably in England.
Marriage entry in the Great Snoring church register simply states their names John Sutton and Dyonisia Clement and the date 5 July 1579. [2][3]
John Sutton, "millner" of the parish of Wells, or Wells-next-the-sea (about seven miles from Great Snoring) made his will 2 Mar 1615[/6?] He left his "houses Landes and tenements boeth free and Coppihold" and named his daughter Margaret; son, John; and wife Dionis.[1] John Sutton "mylner" was buried in Wells 22 March 1615/16][4]

- Margareta Sutton, daughter of John Sutton was baptized 1 Jan 1588[/9]. Margaret Seton[sic] married William Walker 10 Jan 1618[/9]. Their daughter Judith was baptized 24 June 1627, all in Great Snoring.[5]
