Biography

John was born about 1815 in Ohio. He was the son of Ezra Sutton (1796-1851) Ezra Sutton (1796-) and Lydia Ann Canady (1797-1872).

He married Maria Ann Endicott in 1836 in Montgomery, IN.^{[1][2][3][4][5]} They had four children:

James Franklin Sutton 1837-

Lydia Jane Sutton 1839-1917

Ezra Sutton 1841-

William Henry Sutton 1843-1903

He passed away about 1845. He is believed to be buried in Old Thorntown Cemetery in Boone, IN, where his son William Henry was buried. His wife remarried and had many more children with Isaac Davis.
