He was a MLB pitcher from 1966 to 1988, 1966-80 Los Angeles Dodgers 1981-82 Houston Astros 1982-84 Milwaukee Brewers 1985 Oakland Athletics 1985-87 California Angels 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers Career numbers W 324 - L 256 5 saves, 3.26 lifetime ERA, 774 games, 5282 Innings pitched, 3574 strikeouts. 4-Time All-Star, elected to Hall of Fame in 1998. Sutton became a television sports broadcaster after his retirement as a player. He worked in this capacity for several teams, the majority being with the Atlanta Braves.
