Hi Sheri,

It looks like you may have some outstanding merges that need attention. You can find them by following the link at the top of this page under >My Wikitree>Watchlist, then hit the button that says Pending Merges. If you need help, just ask.

Hi Sheri! When you add a new location category for the Schnatterly/Snodderly Name Study to a profile, it will appear red on the profile when you save the edits. Please go ahead and create the new category, adding info/correct categories (in the same pattern as I've been doing for you) - for example, for the new category, Page County, Iowa, Schnatterly Name Study, the information added to the page before saving it to create it was

Category: Iowa, Schnatterly Name Study

Category: Page County, Iowa, Name Studies

This is a subcategory of the Schnatterly/Snodderly Surname Name Study.

Just click on the red category, add appropriate text to the page that opens, and save it.

Thanks! Liz

update - all set. (ps - it's ok to delete this message if you don't need the ONS FAQ link)

Hi! Your categories for the Schnatterly Name Study look good & I can help you create them, but first... could you please create a Schnatterly Name Study Space page?

Instructions are in the ONS FAQ page.

Or... Click https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:Showpage&f=one_name_study

Thanks!

Let me know if you need some resources to look for your Stumpfels in Komjat and surrounding vicinity. I assume you are aware of the Buegenland genealogy group ? Also FamilySearch for Hungary records.

Sheri ~ what interesting, potential One Name Studies. I think they will be worth your while because they seem unusual and I noticed that you already narrowed deviants/variants of the surnames you will be studying.

Btw, I have two lines of STUMPFs from Zell in the Rhineland-Palatinate. I always wondered about the siffix of -el at the end of Stumpf. But do not think it's the same surname, really.

Did you check them here yet ?

Hi Sheri

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! I also noticed you made 201 contributions to WikiTree, thank you!!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Thanks for volunteering to work on Pre-1700 profiles along with adding your own family branch to our huge ancestry tree here on WikiTree!!
