Charles Waverly Strickland, Jr. was born in 1868 in Georgia to Charles Waverly Strickland, Sr. and Julia Ann Strickland.[1] He married Melinda Vashti Dinkins in 1889 in Charlton County, Georgia and their marriage ended before 1900.[2][3] Charles then married Susan Melissa Flowers in 1906 in Tattnall County, Georgia.[4][5][6][7] He passed away in 1939 in Clinch County, Georgia and is buried in the Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Tison, Georgia.[8][9]
