Biography

Norman Leslie Stoneham was born on 23 May 1909 in Northcote, Victoria, Australia, son of Jessie (Davies) Stoneham and Albert Edward Stoneham.^[1][2]

He married Clariss Amelia Waycott in 1939 in Victoria.^[3]

On 23 April 1942, he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II, service number 54453.^[2]

Norman died on 30 May 1994 in Victoria, aged 85 years.^{[citation needed]} His remains were buried on 2 June 1994 at Fawkner Cemetery in Fawkner, Victoria.^{[citation needed]}
