Norman Leslie Stoneham was born on 23 May 1909 in Northcote, Victoria, Australia, son of Jessie (Davies) Stoneham and Albert Edward Stoneham.[1][2]
He married Clariss Amelia Waycott in 1939 in Victoria.[3]
On 23 April 1942, he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II, service number 54453.[2]
Norman died on 30 May 1994 in Victoria, aged 85 years.[citation needed] His remains were buried on 2 June 1994 at Fawkner Cemetery in Fawkner, Victoria.[citation needed]
