Cora married William Jackson in Washington, D.C. in 1911. In 1920 they were living in Washington, D.C. By 1930 she was widowed and working as a cook in Washington, D.C.

She was still living in Washington, D.C. with a sister in 1950, when she was almost 70 years old.
