Hello again! I posted a comment two weeks ago and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well! Do you want to remain in the Germany Project? If I don’t hear back from you by the end of November, I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, always welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes, Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi,

On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Hello, Steve,

Thank you so much for responding to our check-in for the Miltary and War Project.

We are sorry to hear that you are not currently active, but we understand that life happens and interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hello, Steve,

On behalf of the Military and War Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members.

First, we want to thank you for your past participation in the project. We appreciate your desire to honor your ancestors for their service to their countries, or even for your service, wherever in the world. We hope that your membership has enhanced your WikiTree experience.

Please let me know, by commenting on my profile or sending a private message, if you are still active in the project, and if so, in a general sense how you may have contributed to the main project or any sub-projects within the last couple months.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi just wondering is your robert j hart born in Belfast 1910 sept 9 th

This is telling me you have replied and to say thank you but I cannot see your reply Thanks in advance if you can help

Steve, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Thanks,

Karen

Thanks for your email Steve. I'm afraid I just don't understand how to use WikiTree.

I can't see the spouse tab under, edit.

My Donald McIntyre and Mary McLean are the wrong ones for Duncan McIntyre.

I have just learned the correct DOB for Duncan and he was born 5 years after this particular Donald and Mary died.

His parents are Donald McIntyre and Mary McLean but this seems to be the wrong couple.

Although I loaded this couple onto my family tree, it won't allow me remove their dates of birth and death. With apologies for my incompetence.

Welcome to the Military and War project and the US Civil War subproject. We do not have a badge for 1812. Only the subs that were previously stand alone projects have those. Please see the project page for War of 1812 for details on how to join.

Welcome to the DNA Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA

Please make sure each bit of DNA test information is added to the actual test participant's profile, not someone else's like your own. To make cousin connections, WikiTree needs to see the FamilyTree tab. Check that your Privacy on your profile is set to "Private with Public Family Tree" as a minimum. (Living minors should have an Unlisted privacy level.)

If you have not already done so, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include DNA and other terms of interest to you: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

As you add your family lines and connect to the big WikiTree, you may find new cousins. Use the Relationship calculator to see if you are related to me, Cooper-1 with http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Relationship

Welcome to the 1776 Project (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:1776), a subproject of the Military and War Project: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects#Military_and_War_Project

There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project.

If you haven’t already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include 1776 Project and any other tag terms that you wish to follow: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as Template:1776 for those who bore arms in the Revolution and Template:1776 for those who contributed patriotic or civil service. Thank you.

Hi!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
