Sheila moved to what was then called the Territory of New Guinea in c. 1960, where she married John Leslie Simpson.^[9] They had two sons. Sheila died in tragic circumstances in New Guinea when her second son Living Morgan (listed as adoptive parents' son) was just six months old.^[9] After this, Sheila's older sister Joan adopted her younger son, while her older boy, Colin, was raised by his father.
