In 1900 he was thirty-three years old and living with Lina and their first six children, five sons and a daughter, in his parents' household in Coryell, Texas when they were counted on the census.[1]
By April of 1910 he had moved the family to Tillman County, Oklahoma, they'd had three more children, and his wife had recently died.[7]
He'd remarried by 1920, to Mary Elizabeth Agee, and when the census was taken he was living with his wife, his mother, and several children, including three with Mary.[8]

Leta Faye Stevens (1925–2011)
In 1930, six children were living at home with him and Mary, as well as a woman who may have been Mary's mother.[9]
By 1940, four of his children were at home with him and Mary, as well as a three grandsons. They were living in Tuttle Township, Oklahoma.[10]
Adam died in Tillman County, Oklahoma in 1946.[11]
