Gladys Agatha Steeves was born on 15 Oct 1894 in Salem, Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Spurgeon Stephen Steeves (1855 - 1928) and Eva Lowell Steeves (1863 - 1928).

Gladys died about 1980 aged ~85. She is buried in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery, Lower Coverdale.
