Kunigunde was probably the third daughter of Philipp von Schwaben and Maria, the daughter of the Byzantine Emperor Isaac Angelos. This is based on her being named third in a list of the four daughters of Philipp.[1] Estimates for her birth range from 1199[2] to 1202.[3] She married Václav I of Bohemia.[1][4] Kunigunde or Kunhuta, as she was called in Czech, died in 1248.[5] Her place of death is not known. She is buried at the convent of Saint Agnes in Prague.
