Biography

Sara Stanley was born February 4, 1877, in Trumbull, Ohio. Her parents were Josiah Bowman Stanley (1836 – ) and Martha Hawkins (1834 – ). Sara graduated from Alliance High School in 1895, she was a member of the First Methodist Church. Sara married Arthur Cope on April 4, 1900 in Stark, Ohio. Arthur was one of the founders of the Cope Moser Electric Company.
