Biography
Martha Ann Stacey was born July 4, 1836 in Monroe County, Alabama to George Stacey and Catherine Snowden. She married William Carnley(of Monroe County, Alabama) October 9, 1857 in Monroe County, Alabama near present day Purdue Hill, Alabama. In 1850 she was found living with her family in Monroe County Alabama. She was later found in 1860 living in Santa Rosa County, Florida and 1880 in Coon Hill, Florida . In 1900 he was found living in Coon Hill, Florida. She passed away March 25, 1894 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. She is buried in a marked gravesite in the the Carnley Cemetery south of Jay, Florida.
