Hi Joseph

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-226636

Elizabeth's maiden name was Fletcher, as per the sources on her profile

Could you please amend her Last Name at Birth or add me to her Trusted List so I can make the change myself.

Thanks Steve

I received notification that you edited the bio for Marie Anne (Saint-Denis) St-Denis, but I can't see what it was? She and Pierre Boucher are my 8th great grandparents so I'm guessing we must be cousins:-).

Hi Joseph

It has been a few weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Disasters (and Titanic) Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Regards Joan

Hello Joan

I already PM you on 2/4/20 and again today is there some thing wrong with the messaging system.

Hi Joseph,

On behalf of the Disasters (and Titanic) Project Leaders we are carrying out a check-in to see how all the members are doing and taking the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work in the past.

We have recently made a lot of changes. We are changing the focus of the project to include more about people involved in disasters and the effect it had on them and their families. We have divided the project into teams. Please have a look https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Disasters

Please let me know, by comment on my profile or a private message, whether you are still active in the project, and which team(s) you would like to work with. What are you enjoying most about being in the project? What would you like to see improved or changed?

We're looking forward to hearing back from you,

Joan and Lizzie

Hi Joseph,

I’m checking in with all Titanic Project Members to introduce myself and see how you are and what you are working on. I’m Lizzie and I’m honoured to be looking after the project in the role of coordinator. Please let me know what you are working on and if you need anything from me.

Looking forward to moving the project forward with you

Lizzie

Fletcher-353. Joseph, I noticed that you've made a number of changes to this entry over the past few years. I don't understand precisely how changes are actually implemented on WikiTree yet, but amongst those I'm interested in here are changes you made to John Fletcher's birthdate and parentage--adding and then deleting the 1682 birthdate and adding and then deleting his parents. I checked the change history and unfortunately, there are no comments associated or explaining why these changes were made. What were your reasons? Is there a way to actually insert justifying change commentary. John Fletcher is an ancestor that I've been trying to trace, but he seems to be a dead end--no one has information beyond him. Is he or does he just need more work? What sources should I research?

Hi Joseph,

I haven’t yet heard back from you to say whether or not you’d like to continue in the Canada Project. Please can you let me know if you’d like to stay, what team(s) you’d like to be in, and let me know your e-mail address so I can add you to the project Google Group? If I haven’t heard back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer want to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to re-join at any time.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Joseph,

Greg Lavoie, Dave Rutherford and I have put a lot of work into restructuring the Canada Project. Have a look at the new project page.

You'll see that we've changed the project name to the Canada Project and the badge will be changed shortly. We've done this in order to provide lots of ways for people to contribute to Canadian Profiles. We've also moved towards a team approach with top level teams being lead by Project Coordinators and sub-teams being lead by Team Leaders.

Would you like to continue in the Canada Project, and if so, which team(s) would you like to be on?

Let me know if you have any questions. Once I hear back from you I'll add you to the Google group and get you set up in your team(s).

Susie

Hi Joseph, I made an unmerged match for Guillebaut-11 (L) and Guilbault-138 (R). They are duplicates but neither has the approved surname for the Acadian Project (Guilbeau). Please contact the other PM and one of you change the surname to Guilbeau, then propose a merge. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks for helping improve our Acadian profiles! https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Familles_Acadiennes#G
