Biography

I am an adoptee whose social worker told Ray and Barb Sandvig that I was all Norwegian American like Ray. At age 61 all these French, Scottish, and English names popped up in my matches. The St-Pierre name didn't shock me because my FtDNA YDNA-67 are both St-Pierres. I never thought the St-Pierre match would be as recent as a grandfather. After a lot of research I discovered that my biological father was also adopted into a Norwegian-American family and the source of that French, Scottish, and English DNA.

Elizabeth (St.Pierre) Williams

Hi Jeff, I was born a St. Pierre. And I’ve been trying to find my grandfather for many years but I really don’t have any information on him, like where he was born what year he was born and when he died. I just have his first name last name and I do have a couple of pictures of him with my dad and his brother. My grandfather in the picture was with my grandmother also but they never married. Her name was Mary Ida Meunier Born in Beverly Massachusetts March 1912. My grandfather‘s name is Adelard st. Pierre. He does have a missing leg from the knee down. My dad Victor a St. Pierre was born in Salem Massachusetts November 1933 died 1956, and his brother Ernest St. Pierre was born 1930. It’s been kind of frustrating because I would like to know more of my St. Pierre side of the family.

I did the DNA 23andme but I’m not understanding that. Not sure how often you come on here so I’m gonna see if I can find a way to private message you. Thank you Elizabeth St. Pierre Williams
