Maria Fortunata was born in 1814 in Belsito, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy. She was the daughter of Domenico Spina and Carmina Sicilia.
On 4 Sep 1834 Maria Fortunata married Santo Antonio Fabiano of Mangone, son of Pasquale Fabiano and Chiara Ferrato, in Paterno Calabro. [1]
