Anderson wrote an interesting article in the "American Ancestors Magazine", Winter 2023, Page 35-39. It provides an overview of the first two series in the Great Migration Study project, introduces the third series and the anticipated fourth series.

I'm not sure if I can't see the forest for the trees but when I go to the Google Books site to review Volume 2 at https://books.google.com/books?id=fD0hAQAAMAAJ it says there is no ebook version available. I switched to the new book viewer page and that showed me a search entry, but the results don't seem to be very useful.

It is "search only" so unfortunately it's not available in full view. These books are available in print (hardcopy) version, and via subscription to AmericanAncestors.org.

Kent, I've tried to clarify that section of the page a bit. Unfortunately, the Google access isn't very helpful. GMB is on Ancestry.com as well, if you happen to have a subscription. Otherwise, you can always request a look-up in g2g. Just tag PGM.

Thanks, M. Appreciate the reply. I do have an Ancestry account. I see we have the link to it on the page. That's great. I was checking for those who do not have Ancestry. I have this source in one of my references on a profile and wanted to use the free link, but wasn't sure if the nearly useless view I saw was just me or reality.

Creating a share link through ancestry is one possibility, but for most of what is in the Great Migration series the underlying source is available online, so citing that works as well.

100 Thank you clicks are not enough to convey my appreciation for what has been done here. I wish I had had access to this years ago……

I noticed that there isn’t a separate page for The Great Migration Series, but some citations for GM link back to this page. Any thoughts on whether to maybe create a new page or add info on that series to this page?

This page was originally created for the 10 volumes of the "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England" series (both 1620–1633 and 1634–1635). Other books from "The Great Migration Study Project" should be created with other Free-Space pages. I'm just not familiar with them. Maybe there should be a page specifically for "The Great Migration Study Project", if there isn't one already. I'm open to any ideas you may have.

Great Migration Begins was three volumes and covers 1620-1633 (first series). The Great Migration is 7 volumes covering 1634-1635 (Second series). The two other publications would be the Newsletter, and the Great Migration Directory. But I think where I'm confused is if the first series and second series should be separate, since they have different titles.

If you create new Free-Space pages, with the titles you suggest, we can move this information into those new pages, and stop using this page.

Okay, I took a stab at adding the other pages, and integrating them...edit anything you think necessary.

Hi M, Are your pages still available online somewhere?

Thank you.

I fixed the broken link on "Wikitree Profiles that use this source".
